Call for Artists Plein Fun Fest Weekend Schedule Saturday Competiton Application Judge Donations	CALL FOR ARTISTS Paint “Boca” Judging and awards of over $2000.00 cash plus prizes - 1st place $1000 - 2nd place $750 - 3rd place $500 Reception to be hosted by the Boca Raton Museum Art School and Plein Air Palm Beach Competition will be limited to 25 juried artists Friday, February 14, 2025 Paint out in Boca open to first 25 entries Saturday, February 15, 2025 25 juried artists will paint the Old Floresta Historic District. Early Application: December 1-15, 2025 $40 Deadline: December 31, 2025 $50 Notification by January 15, 2025 Event dates :- Paint out Friday, February 14, 2025 - Competition Saturday, February 15,2025 Entry and Application requirements: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Application fee: $40 for early registration, deadline 12/15/2024 $50 for late registration, deadline 12/31/2024 Fee is payable on-line by applying to Plein Fun Fest Competition by credit card and is non-refundable. Artists must include a completed application, artist statement, and release agreement, along with 3 high quality jpgs of recent original plein air work. Images must be labeled as follows; artist's initials, the number that corresponds with your entry (1, 2, or 3), title of piece (or an abbreviation of the title). For example RDP1OceanAtDelray.jpg. Overall Image file size should be between 1Mb to 2 Mb in size in jpg file format. All submissions of artists plein air paintings must have been painted without the use of photographs and not painted in a workshop. All applications must be received by December 31, 2024. All applications will be collected and images sent to the Jurying Panel of Plein Air Jurors. Images submitted can be used at the discretion of the committee for publicity purposes. Up to 25 applicants will be selected by the jurors to participate in the plein air competition. All applicants will be contacted by January 15, 2025 as to whether they are accepted in this competition. A list of accepted artists will be posted online at Juried Artists for Plein Fun Fest 2025 Incomplete applications will not be processed. Note: All artists are responsible for shipping and packaging costs associated with the return of unsold artwork.

Friday, Feb. 14 Boca Raton Museum Art School 801 W Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33486 8:30-9:00am Artists check in, get canvas stamped 9:00-3:00pm Artists begin painting at their chosen location in Boca Raton and complete their work, arriving back to the art school by 3:00 with artwork framed, wired, and ready to hang. Suggestions: Gumbo Limbo Nature Center Sugar Sand Park Mizner Park Boca Inlet Park Old Floresta Historic District Saturday, Feb. 15 Boca Raton Museum Art School 8:30-9:00am Juried artists check in, get canvas stamped 9:00-1:00pm Artists paint in Old Floresta Historic District 2:00pm Artists drop off artwork framed, wired, and ready to hang by 2:00pm. 2:00-4:00pm Water and light refreshments will be available for artists. 4:00-6:00pm Reception, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash awards presented, to juried artists. Noncompeting artists are eligible for non-cash prizes.
