The Climb

Painted in June on the Appalachian Trail. Took a break while hiking up from Carvers Gap on the Trail this past June. Storm clouds were building up, so I painted this quickly to get thefeel of the sky and looking upwards on the path I was taking towards the building storms. Then hurriedly hiked back down before the rain.
